Default frozen sewer line help

i think my sewer line to my septic tank is frozen and i am looking for tips on how to get it thawed. i am not 100% sure where my tank is but i believe it is about 75 foot from my house. i have 2 seperate pipes going out of my basement, one for the sink and shower drains and one for the toilet. a plumber came out yesterday and ran 125 foot of snake through the grey water line and never hit anything. he thought because of the age of the house that line might just run out of a pipe on a hill. i think i might know where that is but im not sure. it is under an 8 foot long and 7 foot deep snowbank right now. he suggested teeing my grey water into the toilet drain (which at the time i thought was fine). i drilled a hole into that line where i was going to tie it in and come to find out that one is clogged too (yes im covered in shit water now). i have one of the ballons that swell to the size of the pipe and force pressurized water into the line that has been in it for about an hour now and i have no spots where water is coming up in the yard. i think because of the recent thaw and the lack of snow in the area where my septic is has caused the drains to ice over. where the septic come out of my house they are only buried a foot and a half under ground. i dont know how deep they get before they get to the tank. any suggestions on how i can get these lines thawed or am i thinking wrong here? thanks

Are you using hot water to flush the pipes?

Have you considered that your tank could be full?

Does it drain at all, even slow?

it is stopped up solid as a rock! the plumber is on his way over right now to try and run a snake through it and see if he can get through ice. with well pressure on the line nothing will go through even. nothing is seeping up outside either.

sounds like a shitty situation.

I am of no help as I don't know shit about septic systems.

Really shitty that this happens when its colder than shit outside.

I am sorry I haven't added any type of contribution that is helpful, I am an asshole, and that was shitty of me.

Good luck with your poop pipe problems.

You have two options:

1. Pour kerosene and gas down the pipes, wait 30 min, light on fire.

2. Wait for spring. Rent a port-a-potty in the meantime.

Like what was said, is your pipe to the septic frozen, or is your drain field frozen. I'd be surprised if either is frozen, especially with the amount of snow cover we've had (that will actually keep the ground warmer). I have seen many sewer lines freeze on cold winters but only under roads or drive ways or areas that people have kept plowing the snow off of.

Try to get someone to bring out a sewer jetter and hook it up to your hot water heater for the water, they are usually are good for 100 feet or more. I had to do that last year when my septic tank was full and backed up in the pipe and then froze..but the sewer jetter worked.

if it were me, i'd do what ever i had to to find the inlet side of the tank and pull the lid. that way you will be able to see how much if any water is flowing to the tank. you also would be able to tell if your drain field is draining properly.
build something with a handle on it to probe out the line where it comes out of the house and follow it to the tank.a newer tank will be 4'x8' and have a round lid on the inlet and outlet sides. older systems may have the lid in the center or have slabs of concrete to cover it.
i did septic systems for 13 years and never heard of a main line freeze up like that unless like Shawn said, it's been cleared of snow or it's been driven on enough to drive the frost line down. but i guess anything is possible.
