Default If high gas prices was bush's fault

Why is it $3.35 with obama in office? Does Bush still have secret control of that part of the government?

Well he and Cheney do control the whole big oil industry, so yes it's his fault.

Watch CNN for 30 minutes and...No, you should watch CNN for 1 hour and you'll understand.

Must be the Republican House to blame (not the senate of course).

Devaluation of the currency is the cause of the cost of fuel going up. On November the 3rd, the day after the November election the federal reserve started another round of currency devaluation, known as quantative easing. If 90 % of the fuel is being purchased from other countries with currency that is intentionally being devalued, the cost will go up.

I'm pretty sure the unrest in multiple Middle Eastern oil producing countries may have something to do with it.

And the (lack of) logic of the original poster is pretty amazing. It sounds like you're saying; "the rise of oil prices when Bush was in office couldn't have been his fault because he's not still in office and the price is still going up". It would be like saying; "the high price of oil during the 1973 oil embargo couldn't have been a result of the embargo since the price is higher now 38 years later."

It is consolidation of countries who can agree to agree that a large amount of money can be made off the people ,based on a need for products derived from oil. Lets all become Amish and screw them back.

Agreed but OPEC carries a 6% reserve now(5M bbl/day), and Libya only contributes 1M bbl/day. If the world consumes 83M bbl/day and only 1.2% of the worlds supply was disrupted, then this is a cash grab and scare tactic by the big oil companies to drive prices up during a recovering economy.

At $100/bbl we can buy it from the Canadian oil sand lots, so it looks like my stock move into canadian raw materials was a good choice.

In the past 3 years they have drilled 5 wells on my neighbors prop. The wells can produce 3000 barrels + a day. Do to USA law only 100 barrels a day can be taken from eacha day. Do to the world oil trade commission rules they can only take 100 barrels from a private property development per day no matter how many wells and what they can produce in rule U.S. private oil production.
100 a day out 3000 + from just one 40 acre parrcell . Just how much is being restricted in the U.S. as whole.
