Default 1990 TBI 350 stalls when put in break is pressed.

1990 GMC Sierra TBI 350 stalls when I put it in gear or press brakes. After it runs for 5 mins. or more. Sometimes the brake lights stay on. Sometimes I can make it stall by turning the head lights or hazard lights on. It Starts up every time after words with no problem. Any suggestions?

Also double check your vacume lines, valvs, gaskets, injectors, run cleaner through your tank see if it helps. But ill keep doing some more searching see if i can find anything else thats just the first thing that popped up when i typed it in google.

I checked all vacuum lines even tried the carb cleaner method no luck. I don't know how to check the brake booster or even if that would be the problem. The brake pedal seems normal. Im sure Im over looking the obvious.

Check the body ground and make sure its good and clean. Had an issue with my 92. Would roll over all day and not fire because the body ground broke and wasn't grounding the body enough. A couple dash lights would come on and roll over but not fire. Fixed the ground and no issues so far.

Thanks checked the grounds all seem fine even replaced the battery cables. Just in case. It starts fine idles good. It just stalls when I hit the brakes or put it in gear. Pulled the fuse the brake lights wont go out. Possible that it could be a neutral safety switch?

When I had that problem before it was the brake booster leaking but it would only stall when the brake was depressed. I could hear the leak from inside the cab down by the pedal when I pushed the brake with my hand.

is the little plastic check valve in the booster any good? its the part that plugs in where the hose goes on. it should allow suction from the engine one way but stop any leakage back the other.
when they go bad they over tax the engine when applying the brakes.
