Default montana house repeals medical marijuana law.

http://missoulian.com/news/state-and...cc4c002e0.html

Is it democracy when 63 people decide that 2/3 of the voters in a state are wrong? these people are going to be killing an industry in an area that needs the money and jobs that that industry is producing. what a fucking joke.

Earth to Stevo, we do not live in a democracy. Pure democracy = Mob rule

We live in a Republic.

Now get back to shooting prairie dogs and stop trying to get your medical marijuana card

I already have a michigan card, montana was the only state that recognised it. those people are supposed to be representing the voters. this reminds me of when the drinking age was moved to 18, then changed again due to pressure from the feds.

thats right, but if montana had handled the situation properly they would have had a source of revinue from the medimari law. now they are going to be forcing these people to become law breakers again. instead of collecting taxes from the growers, dispensary's and supporting industry's, they will be spending money on policing and imprisoning these people. maybe if they started taking down the meth people instead of chasing around a bunch of stoners they would see less crime in their state.

It doesnt matter the effect of the industry. The will of the people is supposed to be greater than the will of 63 assholes. Tobacco is killing many more than pot but the government has no problem with it because they get $$$$ from it.

Like him or not Steveo is right on here.

Stevevo is ok, he has his opinion and thats fine with me.
Pot in a society is probably not the best idea, legally or even illegal. it does create problems, mentally and as far as health issues, I can see lung cancer coming from this also.
I have seen what pot does to people over a span of 30 years. It messes with your mind, short term memory, the ability to concentrate and make disicions and be rational.
It may get the state money needed to pay bills and stay on budget but in the long run, you'll end up with a bunch of stoners who can't or won't do anything more than what is required of them.

Cool! Move to the weed!

As far as the legalities and health affects, alcohol causes far more problems in our society than pot and always will.
As long as marijuana is kept illegal, the private for profit prison industry has an automatic what, 60-70% occupancy rate?

well duh...

the pharmaceutical companies cannot put a patent on weed, they can't stop people from growing it themselves so they are not going to profit from it.

why do think weed was deemed illegal federally in the first place??? Because the paper and textile companies had the lobbyists to eliminate competition.

This was brought up in the pub a while ago and I think it was JeepBratt that showed some pretty good case studies on the effects of Weed on the body.

I can't stand the guys who think that by just allowing it to be sold the economy will sky rocket and we'll all be in some kind of utopia. It may bring some new business to the economy but so would making meth legal, crack legal, ETC. It's not a matter of economy but weather we think it's right or not. Everybody has Opinions and well....we know how that sang goes.

Weed logic. Booze is worse than pot, so pot should be legal

More people are killed taking a bath than in drive by shootings, so drive by shootings ahould be legal

I seriously doubt the legality of weed has much of an effect on the number of people who use it.
