Biggest reason is heat. Also appearance, it only cost a few more bucks for the tail pipe.

Frdboy stopped by and helped me wrap up a bunch of details today.










We also fired it up. Sounds a bit quieter than I was expecting. The bummer part is I have a bad hydraulic hose. Have to wait till Monday to get a new one.

Its a little bit of a drive, but Cedar Rock Automotive (Jim Hawthorn), located just north of me, will build a hose for you. He's open from 11am until 2pm tomorrow.

That thing is so bad ass, can't wait to see it in action! Sounds awesome at idle even if it is a little quieter than expected.

Wiring is done. Hydraulic steering problem fixed. Ran it thru 2 heat cycles. Getting close.

No. Still running it thru heat cycles and trying to get fluids to there operating level. Tranny is thirsty. 3.5 gallons and still low after last check.

Tranny was empty. New torque converter. Deep tranny pan. Remote cooler.
