I know its not 100% accurate to say, but voting libertarian is like throwing away a vote..

We both know he will not win, so I would rather have a say in who does.

With that mentality it will always be like throwing a vote away and we'll never have anything other then the two-party system. I'd rather vote for a candidate whos stance I support than vote for the 'lesser of two evils' as many described it in the last presidential election. It might a vote thrown away today but if more people would take the time to learn about the candidates and vote accordingly things would change.

The whole purpose of someone like that is to draw votes away from one of the people who matter.

(If this doesn't make sense, feel free to just ignore it. I'm so tired that I don't really know what's happening right now... )

Unfortunately, a third-party candidate is a protest vote (i.e. makes a statement, but doesn't affect teh outcome) at best.

Third parties had a chance with Ross Perot, but that window of opportunity was sqandered.

actually, devos hgot my vote when I read that he is not going to make it so people can take money away from public education.

I knew that he was pro-voucher, but at a stop in brighton he siad that he was not going to mess with that part of funding for schools.

I would like to see a raise, as I have not seen one in two years.

The Northern folks will not vote for him, because he would be a City man and not give much to us up here.

oh and most of us rednecks for for the person not what party they run under. that seems so highschoolish to me.
