Default Reinstating slavery

Well according to some here the founding fathers knew what was best even for the year 2000 and on. Since we cant question them at all I guess we are supposed to follow their lead 100%. So I guess that means we should be gathering up our slaves soon. We know they were flawless and all knowing.

We could be completely out of debt, have paid off our mortage, no car paments living the American dream and still be slaves to our government. We do have more freedoms than others from other countries but we are still slaves to our leaders.

As far as the Bill of Rights goes, those apply regardless of what year it is.

No, I think we should do away with what the founding fathers said altogether. Rewrite everything so it 'fits' our time. We can start with Gun control.

Amendments. Maybe you've heard of them? We have Judges to interpret the law and Legislators rewrite, or amend, what needs to be amended.

Wow, I mean, Did I really strike that big of a nerve in the other thread?

I know you are being sarcastic but that still has to be the most ignorant statement made on this forum in months. If you understood the founders and actual American history, you would realize your ignorance.

Here let me use the founder's own words to show you that they thought everything should be questioned....

"Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear."

Thomas Jefferson

The founders knew what all great men know.....that they didn't know everything. That's why the constitution has, written within it, a way for it to be changed. That very amendment process was used to end slavery. So maybe you should thank the founding fathers for ending slavery instead of ignoring their great contribution to the liberty of mankind because slavery was common in their time. They gave, to their posterity, the power to end slavery and their children did just that.

Have you done anything as great?
