Default Built 1/2 ton axles. Lockers, 4.88s, etc---SOLD

I’m considering selling my axles and going bigger with my project before I go any farther. I bought these axles complete with all the parts listed and everything is in great shape inside and out. All I’ve done is take them apart, inspect everything, remove brackets, and add some heavy duty trusses.

Front:
Passenger drop D44 from mid 70s Cherokee Chief widetrack
4.88 gears
Detroit locker
Flattop knuckless milled, drilled, and tapped on both sides
Hi-steer arm on passenger side with spacer to clear SOA leafs(removable)
Yukon Superjoint u-joints (similar to CTM/Ox/Longfield/etc)
Yukon stubshafts
Stock inners
Knuckles rotated for good pinion angle and caster
Housing welded to axletubes
2”x2” .25” heavy duty knuckle to knuckle truss on top
2” x .1875” bottom knuckle gussets
65” WMS-WMS
Dodge 5x5.5 outers with good disc brakes
1310 yoke I believe
Nice factory style tie-rod with some beefy looking TREs
All bearings and moving parts look good, fluid was like new, etc
A bunch of spare parts including knuckles, shortside inner and outer shaft, etc.
Heavy duty diff cover available for extra

Rear:
Mid 70s Ford big bearing 9”
4.88 gears
ARB air locker with new in box lines and fittings(new mini compressor also available for extra)
Stock 31 spline shafts
Disc brake conversion
Spare axleshaft(shafts are equal length so will work on either side)
1350 yoke, also comes with 1330 yoke
65” WMS-WMS
5x5.5 bolt pattern
2”x2” .120” wall truss plated over with .125”(total ¼” thick on both sides)
All bearings and moving parts look good, fluid was like new, etc

Basically everything you’d want to do for a nice set of strong half ton axles is already done to these and they are completely ready to run as-is. No assembly or rebuilding needed, just add fluid, weld on some brackets, and go. To do it yourself would easily cost twice what these do.

Just looking to get my money back out of them. $1600. Not interested in splitting at this time unless I have a buyer for both.
Located in Highland, MI. Might be able to help with delivery within a reasonable distance. I’ll be making a trip to the UP in late March also.
If these sell I’ll also have a nice set of 37” IROKs with tons of tread left on 5x5.5 wheels for sale for a good price. Will make a deal for the package.

Added another pic. I also have a super clean passenger drop Dana300 t-case with clocking ring that'll bolt right behind an AX-15 if that'd help make a deal for somebody

Plans are remaining largely unchanged but if I can sell these I'll throw some bigger axles under it just for peace of mind. I absolutely will not go crazy again, my financial priorities are elsewhere, I just want that warm fuzzy feeling of rolling on 1 tons.

Meh, I'm trying to do it before it sets progress back, and if I can get rid of these I've got it pretty well figured out to not cost me much more to upgrade. If they don't sell then I'll just run them but I'm hoping they do....now let's not clutter this up anymore than it already is.

Why not do a 609 front? You're into it for just as much money.

Yeah right, not even in the same ballpark. I might do that eventually but that's way beyond the scope of what I want for my current build. I've got my eye on some tons already but I can't really justify buying them till these sell...and if they don't sell fast then they'll get used, cuz I want this thing done.

I was going to put them in my 98 TJ. Put brackets on them for whatever link configuration you're gonna run, a dana 300 will bolt right up if you have an AX15, not sure about other transmissions though, get some driveshafts made or modified, some wheels that bolt up(like I said, if these sell I'll also have wheels and tires to sell), and you should be good. I mean there are always more little details like floor clearance depending how you clock the t-case, brake lines, and stuff like that but it shouldn't be a big deal if you know what you're doing. They're not bolt in ready but they're not gonna take rocket science either

I'm looking to move these fast so it doesn't delay my project, so if anybody's interested let me know!

Replied to your PM. I'm not looking to sell the wheels, tires, and t-case until the axles sell. If they don't sell I'll still be using the whole setup....but hopefully somebody snags these fast so I can move on with my project the way I want to. It's a great deal for the parts that are in them!

I am interested in these axles. The price is reasonable as well... are these still available?
