1998 XJ w/ 4.5" lift *SOLD*
Time for a change. I need something with better gas mileage, so the Jeep has to go.
1998 Cherokee 4dr 4.0L AW4 (auto) NP231. D30 front, 8.25 rear.
4.5" Rough Country short arm lift (full rear spring packs, not add a leafs)
Iron Rock Offroad SYE, rear CV shaft
85% 31x10.50R15 BFG All terrains on 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classic IIs
Crossover style steering from Jeeperz Creeperz
New-in-box Rancho adjustable track bar
Newer unit bearing/ hub assembly on both sides
Changed front axle u-joints at the same time
Omix Front tow hooks, Drawtite hitch in the rear
Power sliding sunroof
Power locks, windows, mirrors, steering
NO cruise (bummer)
CD/ Tape deck
Pretty sure it's Sport trim level, but not sure.
Body is in pretty good shape for it's age. The tailgate has some rust under the lip, but no holes anywhere. Doors, floors, and rockers are in good shape. It's been repainted by a previous owner, and was probably a Maaco job, but still looks great when you wash it. I get a LOT of compliments on the way it looks.
Windshield is cracked, but out of the field of vision. $160 replacement from Safelite.
Needs swaybar bushings (frame side) in the front.
No noise from the engine, or at least nothing that's not supposed to be there. 20lbs of oil pressure at idle, 50 at anything above that.
The drain-back valve in the fuel pump has been 'gone' since I acquired this Jeep. It means you either get to crank it for about 10 seconds if it's been sitting, or you need to cycle the key once before starting and it'll fire right up then.
Asking $3500 obo. I'm kinda flexible on the price, but the ONLY trade I'm looking for is an SVT Focus. ODOMETER PIC BELOW IS A COUPLE OF MONTHS OLD. I DRIVE THIS XJ 74 MILES PER DAY, MINIMUM, so it's definitely reliable.
