Default Tube Tek Bender and Owner

I ordered a tube tek bender back in december and everything with the order and communication was going well with the owner until about 3 weeks ago. I have been completely unable to reach him and have no idea if the guy is alive or what is going on with him. Does anyone on here know any other possible way I can reach this person? All I know is his name is cliff and his business is in ashevill, nc. Everything I've heard about his bender and customer service has been good, and I would really like the bender setup that I ordered from him, but I don't know if he's in jail or even alive at this point. I hope someone on here has some further contact info so I may be able to reach him.

Thanks,
Tony

wow... hopefully this isn't the case. I ordered a bender, degree ring wheel, and two dies. If something happened to this guy it might be a struggle to get my money back through Paypal.

If you paid through paypal and haven't heard from him in 3 weeks, it's time to dispute the payment through paypal. If he is able to communicate, that'll get his attention. If not, you're already on track to get your payment back. I'd dispute today still if I were you.

x2, the longer you wait the more of a pita it is going to be. you will either get your money back or he will contact you, either is a positive for you. good luck

Well wouldn't luck have it, I come home from work today and there is a small box sitting by my garage door. I go to pick it up and it weighs like 30+ lbs. I look at the mailing info. and it says "Ash Mach" which I'm assuming is short for Asheville Machine. I open it up, and there's the bender all dissasembled. I am still missing two dies, degree indicator wheel, and other misc. small parts. Hopefully they are also on their way. The box shows the stuff was mailed Jan. 20th. So hopefully Cliff (the owner) is alright and back on top of things (even though I STILL can't get ahold of him). The bender looks very nice. Machine work is nice and all the pins slide in and out of all arms/assemblies smooth and precise.
