Default help with vac disc on XJ axle swap

hey i have a 91 xj that has an axle that does not have a vac disc but the inner C is bent so to replace it i bought a set of axles and going to swap them in this weekend. my new axle is a vac disc style and i know i can delete that but the two piece axle shaft is weaker. my question is can i just throw the one piece axle shaft out of my other axle into this one and run it? or is there something i need to do more to make it stronger??

put in one piece shaft. I think you have to do something with the inner axle seal, if I remember right.

Yes, I did the same thing on my YJ. You will need to put in a inner axle seal and make a cover for the vacuum motor housing. Thats it.
