She usually will sit on my arm and drink from the faucet but tonight she decided to play in it.

Thats pretty cool, getting all wet. Do you have to get the blow dryer out to get him real dry?

that was my fiance' picking her up in the towel at the end to keep her warm and dry her off.. we keep the house at 72 to keep her warm otherwise she can get sick easily.. The thing about Birds is that they wont show they are sick til it's too late it's part of their natural instinct.

How old is your bird? Is the bird in your will when you die?
We have friends in Florida that have two birds and they have left them in thier will to friends when they die. I guess they live to be around 80 years old.
When our friends got thier bird they received them in a paper bag and towel, the birds had no feathers at all and looked pretty strange.

Large birds are a lot of fun if they can be handled and a pain in the ass if they can not.
