I am thinking that the weekend showed me all I need to know. FOR SALE Yellow Jeep CJ 7. It was a fun ride for the last few years and will be again in another 2-3 years when everything dies down again.

I don't want to see them slow down either, but running in and dominating every class is a bit much. My point was pretty much proven by dmcjeep.

I love watching the fast trucks as much as the next guy but how fast is to fast?? Those guard rails and banks of the pit are not going to keep a wide open 3 second rail inbounds if things go wrong!

There will probably always be mud runs somewhere. Been going for 25 years now and never saw anytime yet where there were none. Has phases though. Lots of real fast big dollar stuff than things die down and the process starts all over again. Maybe it is time for me to seriously consider retireing. I am getting so I hate the cleaning anyway. Or maybe just time to make a little suprise move.

I hear the complaints but no solutions. you cant penalize us for building a fast truck so my idea was a class for those that don't want to spend a ton of money but have fun. the fact is most goes don't reach 175 foot that is why I picked that as a distance. The most money always goes to the top guy in everything that is why a portion of the entry would go to the faster guys. If you truely just want a place to take your truck and compete against your buddy in a safe setting then what does it matter how much money you win. Give some solutions not just more problems i know the problems but not the solutiions.

A lotta good points here, but as they say ya can't make everyone happy!!So what do ya do any one who runs likes to win but as in ant motor sport!!He who has the biggest wallet wins!!!As for classes I know most of the trucks running now would have been in only open class back in the day!!Just my 2 cents!!when the truck is done i'll still run just to see if i have the ability to compete on a budget!!

I understand that you are trying to make it fair for all. Not sure that is possible. I too love seeing the fast guys. They put thought, time, and money, into their vehicles, and we get to enjoy that when it all comes together. Maybe some of the slower trucks should combine their truck budget with others and see what comes of it. To the ones who complain, there will always be a faster truck than yours until you do something about it. Don't handicap the ones who figured it out!

I have way less in my big block than most in there small block.
I donate my money in the mod classes just like other guys.

You think you if a guy runs good he must have a ton of money in his truck....not always true. I got more money in tires than my motor....so it must be the tires that makes my truck run good.....lmao

Maybe split pro-street into two different tire size classes like the points series. That way a pro-street vehicle with two sets of tires doesn't have to bump up into a pro-mod class. I noticed the points series pro-street rules state no aluminum heads and your rules doesn't have that, which I like.
