The 91-01 explorer 8.8 is the same internals. With brakes being the only real differences (other then obvious welded on brackets etc.) So first gen/second gen really makes no difference with the internals.

If thats the case....this axle is definatly acting different that NORMAL

Guess I should drop cover...clean out ...look for wear (change anything suspect) ....refill with the right lube & additives ....and drive on
