Default Silver Lake Sand Dune Clean-Up

The second annual Sand and Swamp-Off Road sand dune clean-up has been set for Saturday Sept 30. We are all meeting in the park between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Clean-up will start at 10, last until around 2:00-2:30. Then we will be going to the Swihart Property to wheel for a little while and have a cook out. Bring your own food and drinks, we will have grills. Hope to see lots of people there. Last year we picked up over 600lbs of trash!!

jellystone rocks when you have kids. Look for the explorer and a black 92 chevy on 37's both with 4byfours stickers on the windsheild.

We still need more people to volunteer for the clean up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Full size bronco in the garage still.......?

You mean to tell me I probably wont see the Bronco in action for the cleanup? I havent seen that thing run yet this year! but he still looks good in the two-tone pickup.

Default Damn

I have out-of-State, non-wheeling, family coming in that weekend tying up my time.

This is a FANTASTIC cause.

It shows everyone involved with the Park that 'full-sized' 4WDs are GOOD people too.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, GUYS!

For those of us that never aquired a State Park permit or ORV sticker this year, will the State Park wave these requirements for cleanup participants? Or will the volunteers be required to purchase permits?
Will a trailer for hauling trash be allowed?

Just curious. What makes 600# of trash on the dunes? People leave wheels and tires lying around?

someone told me you have to have a state park sticker on each quad or bike even if they're not street legal, is that true?
