We are using the turbo's shown in the picture on the last page. They are a compound set up. Should work very well for low end boost, yet have tons of power in the mid and high range as well. Can't wait to hear these things spooling up.

sweet, always good to see another person stepping it up and putting a 12valve in a jeep. are the jk hoods that much shorter than a yj? i shoved my 12 valve in without cutting anything, running electric fans, and no intercooler though.

Couldn't tell you how much shorter they actually are, but the real issue for us is the turbo's coming in through the fire wall... This will be intercooled as well when it's done so we're going to be working in a pretty tight area to get everything to fit just right.

More updates today! The roll cage is being built for a few reasons...Both safety and to build rigidity in the frame. The roll cage is both frame, and body mounted using bushings and mounting plates. This allows us to completely remove the body, with the cage still in tack, yet it ties everything together when the body is mated to the frame. The cage is all hidden inside the custom hard top, and the freedom panels will still be completely functional and removable.

Here are a few shots of the early stages:

These pics show the extension tubes that extend forward through the cowl into the engine bay. They have slugs welded in them for attaching the engine bay structure to them and they are welded to the front side of the A-pillar vertical bars.

The crossbar for behind the dash is done and the 3rd upper cross bar is in place. Tomorrow the dash will be modified to fit back in.

Twins are in place. Not set completely, but in place. A little different mounting location especially for the lower (primary) turbo would be nice for fitment of the turbo itself as well as the down pipe, but it can be made to work. We're still playing with some ideas to maximize room in the passenger foot well area at this point...

That thing is bad ass...are you going to make a removable B-pillar protection bar? For when the doors are off on the trail, they did a cage recently on extreme 4x4 and it looked like a good idea, pretty vulnerable spot.

More updates...The front seats were put in place to check clearance and room around the roll cage. The mounting hardware is all getting replaced with some new hand fabbed stuff, but we wanted to make sure everything fits comfortably.

The roll cage has also been extended to run down the B pillar, and as you can see, mounts to the floor, and also ties into the frame.

The axles have shipped from Currie I'm told and we should see them in a day or two! Things should get moving once these come in!

A few shots of the progress:

Likely going to be early spring. Hard to say right now because we have a lot left to do. Suspension is going to take a few weeks minimum, and there are still tons of little details yet to be addressed.
