And here we are this afternoon...We put the hard top back on and the tub is now done in primer. We wanted to give all the forum members a glimpse of what the body will look like. Remember, there is no body filler in these pictures, just primer sealing the bare metal. Lots more work yet to be done.

Here is the rendering as we have it so far...... its still has many hours left to complete but wanted to post this as we said we would. We plan on having the final rendering ready to post mid next week.

Not everything you see here is as it will be on the Jeep...... fenders will change a bit as per clearances needed...... we are not using the plastic skid plate, just haven't addressed this on the drawing.... we really don't know how how the tires will "fit" in the project till we mount them up on rims and get them beside the project, we will likely find we need to cut out more factory sheet metal once we get to this point etc etc ... you get the idea.

Here you go!

Update time...The Jeep is back together for measurements, and a fitment check of the motor in the new body and frame.

Engine being test fit in to the bay.

Should fit...... once the firewall gets cut out and the engine gets moved back 12 -15".

Donor engine and trans for test fitting.

New clutch from South Bend.

Just a quick heads up to those guys who are as excited about this build as we are...We promise to keep you guys in the loop with this build as much as possible. Some days the progress seems a little more obvious than others, but I can assure you that if there is new info, you'll be among the first to see and read about it! Thanks again for all the support!
