Likely just something that was not really considered in the beginning...While I agree it would look pretty cool.

Should have more updates tomorrow! The motor work is beginning very shortly. Looks like this Jeep will have a 5 speed when it's done!

More updates...

The wall behind the rear seats was the next step in closing in the back of the Jeep. We have contoured the wall to fit the shape of the hard top, and it's coming together quite nicely.

Hard top set in place...

A bit better shot of the box and hard top sitting in place.

Welding in the wall.

Box floor in place, before the fenders have been cut in.

Fenders and inner box work will likely wait until after the suspension work has been done. We want to know how much upwards travel is going to be needed before installing the inner fenders.

Looking good at this point. Some nice welds, and everything is getting closed in.

Hard top can now be reworked off the Jeep to get it filled in and smoothed out.

What do you guys think?

Is suggest a 2nd layer of steel or ay least some ribbing on the front of the bed. Looking good. Deffinetly agree on the full doors, it's not to late.

Very cool and clean build. What's the plan for the rear window, fixed or one that will open? A power slider would be a nice option.

I'm sure the bed will be getting some special treatment before it's done...We are not finishing it in until the suspension work is all completed. We want to see how much trimming is going to be involved first.

Not 100% sure on what the window will end up being. I'll let you know as soon as I find out!

Yesterday was a busy day, and we got the new sheet metal taped off for primer. Time to get the bare metal sealed up before contamination... This is just a quick update...more to come this afternoon!
