More cage work updates...We've been working on getting the cage completed over the past few weeks. These pictures show all the reinforcements of the upper part of the cage that will provide head protection in the event of a roll over for all four passengers.

Also, the seat brackets are finished up, and we'll have lots of adjust ability depending on how we want to set the seats up. I really can't get over the attention to detail, and how perfectly symmetrical all the tube work is.

Hours and hours of work into this cage and its really coming together now. Here are the latest shots of the progress from the past week.

Looks kick ass but shouldn't the area below a suspension seat be open?

might be camera angles, but i would dread sitting in the back seat for any length of time, especially if it was bumpy

Within reason, but it looks like with the slider brackets in there it raises the seats enough for plenty of movement.....but I could be wrong, the pictures are small on my phone

Here is the latest for you guys...

We have the front axle in place to see how things line up. We are re working a little bit of the roll cage for better clearance in a few spots. And lastly, the foam is part of the mock up for the rad/intercooler. Lots of work going on behind the scenes...Projects like this take time to get everything perfect...or as close to as possible. Thanks again for following everyone.

The front seats are actually sitting on the factory sliders, and there is minimum of 1.5" clearance between the seats, and X-brace inside the seat frame. No issues with bottoming the seats out at all. They Mastercraft Seats are pretty solid stuff.

We got the Stazworks wheels back from powder coat this week and got the tires mounted. First chance to see how these wheels look under the Jeep. The subtle color from the back side of the bead locks is going to look pretty sharp I think.

A few have people suggested using a later model common rail exhaust manifold. We have looked at that already and it won't fit well on this vehicle. Having the turbo further forward would help some, but the flange being flat instead of angled prevents it from fitting correctly.

Someone on one forum asked if the seats would be adjustable. The front seats will be mounted using the OEM seat sliders so they will be adjustable. Also, a concern was mentioned about needing clearance underneath a suspension seat or not having any type of structure below them. There is about 1-1/2" clearance between the underside of the seat cushion & the seat mounting plate. It won't be a problem at all.

Here are a few shots from last week with the tires mounted...

Note: This pipe in the box is for fit test only...We have some plans in the works for the exhaust...
