Default 1992 Dodge Cummins Extended cab 3/4 ton 4x4 with Dana 60 front - SOLD

I picked up this 1992 Dodge to turn over and make some cash on. It has 282,000 miles on it, and is powered by a 5.9 cummins intercooled turbo diesel. It has an overdrive automatic transmission and a 205 transfer case.

Front axle is a kingpin dana 60 with 3.54 gears, single wheel new style hubs like a Chevy

Rear is a SRW Dana 70 with 3.54 gears.

The body is rough, and has had some amateur patching done to it. There is no tailgate. Interior is dirty, but seat looks good. Headliner is sagging.

I was told by previous owner that he drove it for several years. It started leaking diesel fuel at the injector pump where the lines go into it and he parked it with the intention of fixing it and never got around to it. That was supposedly about a year ago.

The fluids look fine and it does crank. It appears to be out of fuel so I may go get some on my next day off to try and fire it.

PRICE DROPPED TO $2,000 FIRM I will also consider trades for other solid axle 4x4s, antique cars and trucks, guns, and maybe other stuff as well.

I'm not interested in front wheel drive cars or electronics.

Since I don't have the net at home, I only get on every few days. If you are really interested, it's best to call me at 810-614-8038 between 9am-10pm - no texts.

This is still loaded on my trailer, and I plan on leaving it on until I need the trailer again, so I can deliver pretty much anywhere in the U.S. or Canada for a price - a deposit will be required before delivery.

If it doesn't sell by the end of the month I will be parting it out, so let me know what you need. If I do that, the tranny and t-case are probably spoken for, as may be some of the interior stuff. The rest is up for grabs.

If you guys have trade ideas, post them up here so others can gauge what I may or may not be interested in. Plus the free bump never hurts!

Very good Idea...

If you were to take a trade..Ideally what would you like to get ?

Pics of amateur body work if possible ...I have a friend down the road that would really like this if it was solid

You can pretty much see the body work in the pics. The guy riveted rockers on it and spray bombed it.

It's solid enough, and would work fine for a DD or beater.

Have your friend move fast, this is going on ebay once I get the net at home, which will probably be in a few days.

As for trades, I pretty much summed it up in the first post: "I will also consider trades for other solid axle 4x4s, antique cars and trucks, guns, and maybe other stuff as well. I'm not interested in front wheel drive cars or electronics"

So far I've had PM's asking to trade for two wheel drive four wheelers, snowmobiles, and half ton trucks. - Those didn't interest me, but keep them coming.

Thanks, I'm not in a huge hurry. If I don't sell it by the time the snow starts to melt I'll part it out. With today's storm, I think that might be awhile.

It is in the cab. Previous owner took it off to start to fix leaky lines and never finished.

Truck is up on ebay now under my username - keithshotrodshop - with a starting bid of $2,200 no reserve. That is my absolute bottom dollar on the whole truck, and if it doesn't sell at that I'll be parting it out soon.

If it gets parted out, there is a pending sale on the trans and t-case. Everything else will still be up for grabs.

I'm getting a bunch of dinkuses emailing me through ebay trying to lowball the truck. It didn't sell first time around, so I listed it for the last time.

My absolute bottom dollar on this truck is $2,000! Not a penny less, so don't bother asking. If I can't get that in the next week or so I will be parting this out.

Also, to add to this, I checked the fluids in the truck and they look fine. I also threw a battery in it, and it cranks and sounds like it has good compression. It appears to be out of fuel, so I may go get some on my next day off and try to fire it.

No, I haven't gotten to messing with it anymore yet.

I'd probably go for that 250 if it had a 60 front, and would have possibly considered the ramcharger maybe if it was a manual trans.
