Hey Denny - I saw it on craigslist, but the owner didn't know much about the specifics.

Low or high-pinion front axle? 4.10 ratio? How many miles on it? Is one of the control arms bent also? Does the frame look straight (high hit)?

Craig

Ya he did not know much. I have not checked ratio but would assume 4:10. One arm is bent and it needs a new tie rod. The frame does look good but it is kind of hard to tell with the front crunched. A friend and I were looking it over tonight and it looks like it is straight if not it is a very small bend. I will have to remember tomorrow to check on high pinion. 170,000 mile give or take. I talked to thje kids dad he is the one that actually owned the jeep and he says it runs excellent and was well maintained. It is "lot driveable" in other words we had it running and driveing tonight and seems to run just fine. Maybe you need to get rid of the XJ project and switch to a TJ. When Mira gets to be 16 she would look "cooler" rideing in th TJ. Tell her I said Hi.

All Tj's are low pinion unless it was swapped only Xj's had the high pinion coil sprung axle
