Default good replacement seats???

I am looking to rid myself of the horribly uncomfortable seats that have seen many better days. Anyone know of any seats that will work or that are more comfortable that the yota seats.

IIRC newer 4runner (pre96 maybe?) may be direct or pretty close to direct bolt ins

The seats in my 85 4runner are still some of the most comfortable of any I have owned. I like them better than the seats in my 97 4runner.

Default Seats

I replaced my bench with 94 4runner buckets. 6 out of 8 bolt holes were there, they are pretty nice seats with side supports.

the most comfortable seats that came factory in a car/truck was the capitans/buckets out of a 1997-2001 dodge caravan/grandcaravan

I would try to modify some celica seats, thats what i am plannin on to get rid of the worn out bench seat i have. It looks like a fairly simple swap with minor modification if you have some general fabricating skills

I used Honda (maybe Acura) buckets. They were very comfortable and they weigh about half what the Toyota buckets weighed.
