the local GM dealer said it was a highrider since it came from the factory with the 2" body lift, and 31x10.5 tires, and full skid plates.

Theres no way it came factory with a two inch body lift. They would never allow that man. It voids warrantys and is a hugeeee insurance risk. Zr2s and highrider had droped rear spring brackets and a different frame and different from a arms to get the extra 3 inchs of lift. They also had a 8.5 1/2 ton rear axle in them and different frames. Also had diffetent bed and fenders with molded tabs and predrilled holes for the flares. All s trucks came with the front ifs skid plate. You could get the othets as a option. Check the rpo codes. Should say zr2 i think?

never said it was a zr2. the window sticker, and the dealer said it had a high rider package.

apparantly not.

and yes, it does have a factory installed body lift.
the original owner is my uncle. and it rolled from the show room with the lift.

Well then the dealerahip put a body lift on it so they could lie and tell your uncle it was a highrider. My dad orders every car that comes here and there has NEVER been a factory body lift installed. that or it was used. gmac would not allow that kind of not gm product add on. sometimes dealers customize trucks. buy thwy obviously did it to sell at the highrider msrp price to your uncle. but thw window sticker doesnt say highrider. there was probably another sticker that right next to the window sticker that sated the body lift and 31s.

Either way man you got a good looking truck. The not highriders are really easy to make highriders. lots of people do it to make extra money. Either way good luck with the sale!
