Default **SOLD**93 Yj

1993 Jeep Wrangler
Runs excellent but does start a little hard.
2000 4.0L engine w/~15K miles
AX15 with new clutch
231 T Case w/SYE (about 5k on T Case)
Turbo City Rock-It Intake
M.O.R.E. Bombproof Motor Mounts
Borla Catback
Ford 8.8 Rear w/Disc Brakes (no e-brake)
Crane Bombproof 8.8 cover
Dana 30 Front
4.10 Gears
35" General MT's on 15x10 AR Outlaw rims w/fullsize spare
RE SPOA
Greasable Bushings
RE HD Front Shackles
Currie Boomerang Rear Shackles
Braided SS Extended Brake Lines
Full Doors
Newer Bestop (no cracks or tears but missing rear clips)
RE Hand Throttle
Dash Organizer
OR-Fab Bumpers

Excellent project. Just needs some minor tweaking and cleaning up to be real nice. I just changed the plugs, cap, and fuel filter. I think the check valve? is maybe bad. It take a few turns to get it to fire up, but runs very good after its warm.

I got this vehicle on a trade, and since I have my TJ I really don't have any use for it.

Open to offers. Feel free to come check it out!

Ya, I would like to see a couple pics. Ive never driven a two stroke with a clutch. Ive ridden quads for years, but always automatics.

It has a small rear main leak (what 4.0L doesn't) and the tailshaft outer seal, around the shaft is leaking (its a rubicon express part) it's pretty cheap. Those pics aren't from my driveway. They were from before I got it. Looks the same, except ive worked on a couple things.

It is a really good project. Once is gets warm, it runs really well. Starting takes a while. Its turns over okay, but doesn't want to fire. Has good fuel pressure and spark. I am about 90% sure it is the throttle position sensor, and possibly a weaker starter and battery. Ive been working on it and checked all kinds of stuff. Like I said, once it gets warm, it runs very well. Idles out real nice and has plenty of power.

Other than that, I have found the drivers door has a problem with the latch lock system. Really nothing else wrong with it that I have found. Ive been over it fairly well.

Well, I am interested in trading ya. Where do ya live? When would you want to meet up?

I live just outside of Flint. I don't have a trailer so you would have to come this way. I work during the week too, but I am home every night and weekend, except this Saturday my Sister is getting married so I wont be around. Ill be here all day Sunday and next weekend ill be here all weekend.

As long as the quad will start up and run and not sound like bolts bouncing around in it I will trade ya for sure. I wouldn't waste your time coming out here.

You could drive the YJ home or you could tow it. Once it starts it does run very well. Would probably be easier to tow it.

I am only about 20 minutes from the mounds, if you know where that is. You could make a day of it or something.

why easier to tow? the 4wheeler runs great. the only thing i found out it does not like cheap 2 cycle oil mix. u have to run stuff like clocks. it runs but it floods out a little and bogs. also it dont like 87 octane. it needs 89. i learned not to try the cheap stuff thismorning when i put gas in it and was riding it. when this tank is out, i will garuntee it running a lot better.

i am working on getting a truck to haul the 4wheeler, more than likely i will be heading over on sunday, then. i really need a daily driver. that is the only reason why i am getting rid of the banshee, and i really want another yj. i dont know were the mounds are, so if u want u could call my cell tomarrow or when u have time and give me directions. my # is 231-343-2608 or 231-719-1871 ask for Rob

If you could get it to start a little easier it would be a great daily driver. Ive been working on it and I KNOW its somthign stupid.

Any two hour drive in a Jeep is a hard drive. I know it will make it, no problem. The guy I got it from lived about 1 and 1/2 hour south of me. Made it here no problem.

Just let me know a time Sunday.
