Correct me if im wrong, but...

I had heard, and have done some research, that its only illegal to opperate a ORV on snowmobile trails in Lower Michigan.

So, its completely legal to go wheelin' on snowmobile trails in the UP correct?

Frowned upon, yes, as we found out last night, but legal right?

correct me if im wrong...

What I understand. Is that its legal in the summer, in the U.P. But not in the winter, way to dangerous for snowmobiles.

that pic is taken in my camp yard. miles away from any snowmobile trail.

and, in the ORV Class i was in, probably 5 or 6 years ago, i recall the DNR Officer saying its legal to operate ORV's on the snowmobile trails in winter, and i couldnt find anything on the DNR's website to dis-prove that.

thats why im wondering.

I thought you had to stay off the groomed in the winter time to keep the guys on sleds doing 120 from being road pizza

Trail/Route

It is my understanding that those "trails" are for the sleds only.
They sure as hell didn't go through the trouble to groom them so morons in full size vehicles could go through and eff em all up.

Get a MVUM...only use the ORV "Routes" and you will always be on the right path.
