Default Street legal 4x4 sand rail?

Been in my head since I had a VW kit car with an "assembled roadster" title. I want to retrofit a 4 seater sandrail chassie with a 4 link coil over suspension, using the drivetrain from my cherokee. Im want to be able to drive 60 mph safely and run it down some mild trails up north with the family, so nothing to crazy. Anyone heard of such a rig?

I realize a tube buggy has been done and that you are a smart ass, but have you seen anyone do a street legal version?
