Hemi Jeeps and More

Its been a while since we have posted any of our builds on the sight. VENOM has been busy building JEEPS this year. In the last 4 months we have completed and delivered 7 Hemi Jeep conversions. I will highlight a few of the builds completed in this time frame. One of the Jeeps completed is a 03 rubicon that received a 5.7 hemi coupled to a 5-45rfe trans, a 5" lcg pro
teraflex long arm kit, and a teraflex cross over steer kit. Nice capable rig. We also just finished a 2011 jk 2dr rubicon with a 5.7 v v t motor. This build includes 3" teraflex long arm on top of acos spacers, AEV front bumper, expedition one rear, warn 9.5, 5.38 gears, riddler covers, front sleeve and gusset kit, amp research powersteps, fox resevoired shocks, 37" Goodyear MTR's, AEV beadlocks, tmd hood, and IPF HID spots. This 5.7 vvt tune is absolutely perfect. We have built six 6.1 Jeeps from tj's to 4dr jk's and I would dare say the 5.7 VVT, with this new tune, makes it a stronger overall runner than the 6.1 w/o a custom tune. Our latest crown jewel is a 09 jk 2dr with an Arrington built 426 with ARP forged internals and a custom tune making a REAL 585 hp. As you can imagine this Jeep is mind blowing to drive. The build list on this rig includes the following: currie rock jock 60 with 4.88's, running on 35 Mickey MTZ's, atlas 3.8:1, teraflex 3" long arm, king double bypass shocks on 4 corners, lod midwith front with warn 8000, rigid 20" led bar, expedition one rear, body colored rockhard internal cage, custom 1350 yoked shafts, and custom stainless 3" exhaust with electronic dumps. The customer has had this one for about a month and last week ran into a c5 vette on the highway. The Jeep pulled the vette so hard from 60 mph to 110 + mph that the guy driving the vette would not even make eye contact with the owner of the Jeep afterwards, but rather gave a hand salute not wanting anything to do with round two. I will get some pics of these builds posted to this thread - pending customer approval. Currently we have 2 - 5.7 VVT's in stock and will be receiving 4 - 6.4 VVT's within the next two days. These 6.4 vvt's are the newest srt-8 engine coming originally in the 2011 challengers. The 6.4 vvt will be an absolute monster making approx 525 hp and coming with the new killer tune.

I will post the pics and info of the supercharged 6.2 raptor we will be starting in the next week or so. We anticipate around 625 hp on 9lbs of boost.

Hey nightkrawler -
as time permits try and get to grand rapids and check out the new shop. i am buying lunch/dinner - we'll grab dan too. we should coordinate it around test and tune day on a big build. Problem solved... we'll just put a 6.4 vvt in your rig and kill a couple birds with one stone.

cheers j4

Looking forward to it.
6.4 vvt Sounds awesome, but way out of my league, I'm sure it would kill more than a couple of birds...more like my marriage.

Had a great time at your show last year.

Unfortunately I sold the Jeep off for a Bronco, so I will most likely be on the other side of the street,...............or I'll steal the wifes 5.9 ZJ and come visit you anyway.

Hey Flaresides,

Bring the bronco. The show is more of a 4x4 - truck show than a brand specific show.

SANMAN,
is that a waggy or cherokee? Just got my 401 back from the machine shop. It's going in a '79 cherokee i have had for a few years. The 360 currently in it is pretty tired. Do what you can to get that beast here for the show or whenever.
