The new premium Yukons are a lot better.
Got a good deal going on them right now.
Putting a pair of them and a set of EORP slugs in mine as soon as I decide what jount to run.

The broken one looks egg'd. Better check your other shaft on the other side. Looks like your caps have been spinning in the yokes chewing them up. I tack weld my caps for this reason on my stock shafts.

Its my understanding running full circle clips in chromos and allowing them to spin doesn't have the same effect as it does with stock shafts as the chromo's are harder.

The ears of stock shafts are not forged. At least you did not break the newer outers. Time for some aftermarket inners and full circle clips.

I have heard that people have had better luck with 10 factory inners then their outers. When I was talking to a guy at ECGS he said that there is more strain on the outers then the inners.

I have ten factory inners and outers with the new version longfield joints. I have broke an inner but it was warranted without issue. I liked their warranty over the others at the time. At the time I just didn't (and still don't) trust yukons. I know Randy's came out with a better Yukon line but at the time they were only available for the 44 and 30.
