Lockouts suck! 3 sets in a season, go with flanges, i have the poly-performance on mine, removable slug if ya want to drive the roads. No issues. Same $ as warn lockout pieces of shit without the hassle

That's all fine, but what real experience have you had with them? Any hands-on warranty claims, strength comparisons, warranty turn around times, etc. Not bashing your business, but it has been my experience that Yukon axles suck and waiting for a replacement part to go wheeling sucks too. You forgot to add this part...

Grandman has Yukon chromo's in his 44 said the warranty was great they even let him keep the twisted one as a spare. They did ask for a photo of the stub other than that he said he was very happy.

Oh and I just called Bronco Graveyard and they have lifetime warranty on the stubs. Only for 1 break tho.

I deal with warranty claims as part of my job. You are guaranteed a replacement on the first warranty claim, and after the first claim Yukon reserves the right to give you your money back instead of replacing the axle. This is primarily to protect themselves from the guy who is running 44" boggers on a D44 and keeps breaking shafts...don't laugh, I've seen it.

I have yet to see Yukon reject a warranty claim. Turn around time on receiving the replacement depends on shipping methods and how quickly the customer returns the broken axle. In general I'd say the whole process takes about 1.5-2 weeks if the customer sends the broken axle in the same day they get the return information.

As far as strength comparisons, Yukon did an axle breaking test with a number of different manufacturers axles this summer. It was on Extreme 4x4 I believe, and there is also a long thread about it on Pirate. We also have this from Yukon:

I'm not saying that Yukons are the absolute best axle in the world hands down. I don't think you can say that about any brand of axle. I think that your style of wheeling determines a lot of things, but so does your wallet.

aren't all the new Yukons different than the older Yukon stuff? Randy switched from the old indian manufacture due to them being complete shit. You could order 6 stubs and every one would be different looking. So randy supposedly found a new manufacture with much better quality control. The old stuff is still being sold by the old manufacture under various names.

one of the names the old indian manfacturer is selling under is dura-solid.
basically i have old yukon outers(dura solid) and new yukon inners.
if i ever wheel ill report any breakage.
im pretty easy on my stuff, so i doubt ill even break the cheap junk i got.

go drive slugs for sure though! lockouts blow(literally).
