There is nothing in or within 30 minutes of GR. There are some very tame 2 tracks south around yankee springs. Otherwise a 45 min trip \/\/est will yield a few of the decent spots we frequent. PM for tour information.

Yea, about 45-50 min north to Big Rapids there are some nice trails too. I lived in GR for several years and there isn't squat around there. Lived in Big Rapids for 11 years. Lots around there.

I would love to get that "tour" information too. Lived here all my life and know that there isn't shit for anything around GR, nearest i've ever been with decent wheeling was in Cadillac and i don't make it up there that often.

Some good stuff in Muskegon, Oceana, and Newaygo counties.

The Two Trackers Four Wheel Drive Club is based out of Grand Rapids.
(Gotta support the sport and plug for the Club)

They know where a lot of the good trails are.

Sure does.

We could have a miniature meet and greet at applebees sometime. I try to go to the one by Alpine/4 mile a couple times per week. After 9 PM they have hellified deals on drafts and 1/2 off appetizers.

maybe i'll post it up next time i'm headed there

Hey my new apt is about 5 seconds from there.

Oh and has anyone else heard of the "Beltline" offroad area? Someone once said there was something out there.

You guys are funny. "nothing around GR, but drive 45 miles and......"

Try living in south east michigan. I drive 45 miles each way TO WORK every day. That's nothing. The nearest legal trails are 3 hours from my house. If I lived within 45 miles of a trail I'd be in heaven.
