I had my first experience with bad fuel on my last tank. Mat the pedal on the freeway and it takes forever to get moving faster.
My issues were the junk/defective batteries. They probably helped to take out the glow plug relay. I needed to change the oil and fuel filter anyway. Today the truck fired right up.

Problems for this winter are solver

ok, since I just bought the truck I am going to do a oil and filter, etc.

Is it mandatory to purchase the filters (fuel and oil) at the dealer, or will your favorite brand of parts store filters be fine?

bones says 15w40 shell rotella, so that's what that will be.

I just did a DIY intake with the WIX filter, and a 3" downpipe.... wow was the downpipe a real BITCH!

Do you all run anti gel additives ? Everywhere I get fuel it says #2 so it should have it in it all ready.

Actually I have said 5W40 syn in the winter, or all year round if you can spend the extra coin.

For a cheap DIY intake, I always use a NAPA 6637 air filter.

15w40 seems most common on the shelves, I didn't see the 5w40 for winter comment, I did however notice she is a little slower starting when cold since the oil change. I was going to ask you about hte napa air filter mod.

Is that just a drop in for factory or a homemade cold air intake? **nevermind I used google**
