Alot of people thought the same of Credit cards. I'm never getting a chip in my body though. I'd be happier if they went back to cash.

I hate to say it but they will probably make it mandatory for armed forces and selective service peoples. I can see there excuse as being able to I.D. bodies & people easier. also the prison system could go round the majority of privacy laws with this and tag every one in prison just to say they did it.

on the fore front they could put readers on school entrances and anyone that is a registered sex offender would set off alarms. I can see where it could get real invasive on the other side as well. they could do away with car keys. if your chip didn't match your ride it wouldn't start. plus the law could set it up so if your license was revoked you couldn't start your own car.

Really there is no end to what or were the government could go with this. It could go so far as to make it so nobody could buy or sell anything without a chip. Go to work and get your account added to your weekly earnings and go to the store, get your food for the week, flex your arm and your account is deducted the amount your food costs. Gas for your car and so on.
Scary!!!!

Scard, No. It is a matter of speech. The thought of everything we do to be under the control of the government.

Revelation 13:11-18

Quote:
Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.[e] That number is 666.
Here ya go. Straight from the bible.

Let ye who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number. Its number, is six hundred and sixty six.

The old english translation of the bible has much more presence than the modern one.

So wait, let me get this straight. It has to be either in the forehead or hand to and be tagged with 666 to be the mark of the beast.

Ok I'm sold. Lets do this to Howell_Jew, but make sure he gets one in the forehead and hand, and then everyone else gets it in their forearm with unique alpha-numeric identifiers that don't have the number 6 in the sequence.

I thought Revelations is part of the Old Testament? I thought since God sacrificed himself (in the form of his son), that we did not have to worry about Old Testament stuff anymore?

Oh shit, now I can't mix crops, wear certain materials, or beat off. I hope my daughters remain virgins before they get married or else I will be forced to kill them (even though it goes against the Ten Commandments). I also heard my neighbors don't believe in God so I have to kill them too. Man, I'm confused. Well, I guess I'll go bake some bread using my own poop as fuel.
