Angry This Should Piss You Off!

Our ORV license money at work

Someone had apparently pulled that sign down, so we did the right thing and propped it back up. Give credit where credit is due I always say.

That speck about 1/3 the way up is Danimal.

This had area previously been used in SnoFari & Sno Blind and underneath all those trees it was in no worse shape than it had ever been.

I like how they cut down trees to block the paths, but they're trying to save nature...that always makes me smile

The signs like that placed in the Atlanta, MI area is to deter people away from an always Illegal area that was being abused. The area is Atlanta is near the Jackson Lake campground.

And thank you for repositioning the sign.

We do maintenance in the Atlanta area and I suspect the signs placed just prior to our fall maintenance will probably be targeted and down/vandalized when we return for the spring pass through the miles we take care of.

Yes. It's at the base of stump hill, back of Ant trap, off St Helen Trail in the Ogemaw Hills area of West Branch/St Helen.

There is a second hill, to the south east less than a half mile down the trail with the same sign. They did the same tactic of dropping trees and piling old stumps at the base.

If anyone knows where the area is at the second railroad crossing by the motorsports area, where back in the day people use to park and camp. They have placed a sign there as well.

But hey, at least we have rocks!

so because a strong storm came in and blew all those rotting trees down due to the ash borer bug weaking the trees trunks we are not allowed to drive on an orv route? looks to me like the trail just got more challenging
