Default help me with firing order

i have a 460. and i just got it in the truck i got it rolling over i have the ignition module hooked up. and it pops out of the cylinders a little bit and backfires threw the carb alot it wont start but cranks and thats all it does. i dont have a book on th engine so i dont know the placement of the rotor in the dizzy or the correct firing order its self and it goes counter clok wise right? help me out its way to cold out to be doing this shit...

It is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 with 1-2-3-4 on the pas side and 5-6-7-8 on the drivers. the dizzy turns counterclockwise.

thats how i have it and all it does is back fires a bit maybe im 180 off or i just wasnt thinking straight its pretty damn cold out there. but thanx
