Petersons 4wd had chris durhams jeep on 40s for the ultimate adventure. he makes lexan (or similar) super high clearance hoods with little fenders molded in. His rig is hard to find any info on tho.

Here's a morning pic in the driveway. That's rear ride height with 35s and stock in the front.

Still need to cut the rear and install the front fenders after paint. And the tummy tuck arrives on the 28th so I'll have a busy next weekend.

I'm thinking getting the front fenders painted green to match but not sure on the price. So maybe rustoleum semi gloss black on the cheap.

But the metalcloak powder coating is amazing. They sent out the battery brackets powdercoated textured black and I can say I wish I would have had the extra money to spend on the powder coated fenders. But when I save up for the flares they will be powdercoated.

There was a no-lift TJ on 35" tires, as well.

So is there any lift in the back yet, or is that on stock springs?

That's stock springs Craig. I have a set of rubi springs somewhere. Need to find them still after the move. But I'm only going to adjust it if the tires need more clearance, most of which can probably be fixed with trimming.

It's 74" wide outer sidewall to outer sidewall.

About 7.5" sticking out past the tub with no flares

Stock flare adds 4" coverage but still exposes 3-4" of tire

Here's the clearance between a stock d35 (poison spider cover) it's 6" to the indentation, 5" everywhere else. Allowing up to 5" of wb stretch.
The skid also sits lower in the front (axle side) and ramps up to the rear of the jeep giving a nice departure angle.

Went to the gas station. My bro pulled me. I guess it was the actual first usage of my winch lol.

I need a new rubber filler neck and clamps, this one leaks somewhat. But it's noticeably heavier in the rear now too. That tank is light since it's aluminum, but the skid is so heavy.

On a good note, I found my new front swaybar links so I can hook it back up since it's been off for 2 years. The extra weight from the winch, winch plate, fuel tank, fenders, and tummy tuck will make the body roll a little too much for street use without it now.

I took some measurements of my jeep stock, just so I can keep track of everymod I do to measure if I gain or lose clearance.

The lowest points of my jeep right now are the diffs and the shovel. All measure up at 8".

The gas tank originally had 9", now it's at 10" at the lowest point and 11" at the rear. But it's partially suspension gain since the jeep is now sitting higher also in the rear due to no spare tire mounted.

With the 35s on it measured 12" to the bottom of the diffs.

So we have 3 1/2" gained in the front
Should be between 6-7" at the belly with tummy tuck
And around 5" at the gas tank.

My jeep does have a more noticeable rake on it now, a front spacer may be on order, or find my rubi front springs and test them out.

Yes go..hurry! I have somewhere around a 1/2-3/4 erection in anticipation of how this is going to turn out. Previously I have honestly hated how those metal cloak things look, but b/c of this build I am starting to like them.
