When will the full results be posted? It was alot of fun aside from the constant over heating. Just my 2 pennies, but bring back the concrete wall and rock garden!!!!! Maybe some more technical rock crawling and less tree killin!

From a spectator stand point, I like to see some of the harder obstacles not have bypasses. Even back at the hill on the blue trail it was kinda boring cause everyone took the very easy route up the hill. Or maybe some designated spectator areas with some big action obstacles. Very cool event and i will be back. I had a blast.

Near the end a jeep broke a drive shaft, and then another jeep went the other way and broke a axle shaft, then the yellow buggy went up the middle. The action is just timing. I have some video I'll post up later this week. Was a great time, hope to be at the next one.

there wasn't any difficult obstacles other than lots of steering and bumps,I wish I had run 33s or 35s ......a rig with good suspension, some HP, and ability not to hit trees would work well in either class. It should have been one large class. If we actually had some posted times it would be interesting to see if there was much difference between classes. The challenging part was to endure. I like the idea of a motorcross start without transponders, a fixed amount of laps...just my .02

cool. thats the info im looking for. last year i ran 2wd 75% of the course and only used low lock in the holy moly sections. so if they are not running that i might drop down to 35s to save my steering in the woods.

Yeah, I was disappointed that there were no difficult rock obstacles. You guys have done an awesome job putting on these events and I have all the respect in the world for you, but at this point, I do not plan on making the trip down for the remainder events. I know it's one of those things where you can't please everyone. I guess more people are wanting just pure high speed twisty trails with no rocks. I'm not one of them. I'm one of the ones who would like 50/50 rocks and high speed sections. Anyhoo, I'll be seeing you's at Drummond.

i made it 1700 feet and watched the rest of the day.i mentioned everyone starting at the same time across the field and funnel into a corner. that would be interesting...the track will be all changed for the next one. dale was not sure how hard to make it with the 35 and under class. i have a couple of complaints but they have already been discussed. i am sure twisted will get it figured out.
remember this is only the second event and the first for 2 different classes, witch everyone wanted..so let's make the suggestions and have it be a better event.

ok everyone lets not forget this is THE TRAILMASTER CHALLENGE not the rock crawl challenge nor the extreme truck challenge. it's not our fault that you built a single purpose rig that can't make it through the trees instead of a well rounded rig that is able to be used more places. you don't see a mud dragster at the rock crawl do you? a trail challenge is just that, a natural (not man made) trail. when you go out in the woods there is not a concrete wall to over come.
you didn't see me complaining when i entered my grand cherokee at drummond last year and i still placed 5th for that one day and made it up the bonus climb and got 8th place over all with my little 33 inch tires and STOCK rig. LEARN HOW TO FING DRIVE YOUR RIG! or don't be scared to hit a tree or two. or in my case rolled a time or two.
for what it's worth the course should not change because of the prizes that are at the end of the 4 races for those who place in the top at all the races. that is only fair for those that are in for the long haul. nascar doesn't change mis track everytime they race there. if the big boys want rocks that is fine, but put the little guys first for their own 4 hour race because i see lots of back ups where it's going to be hard (i.e winching, breakdowns) that is where the bottle neck will be and we little guys will be sitting there waiting for a chance to get around and continue racing. i understand you cannot please everyone and that is why there are other comps out there ( rock crawl, mud running, king of hammers etc.)
this is one of the best things out there right now. you watch in the next few years this could be huge. the best thing about this is the people who come to twisted to do regular wheeling will see they too can do these races. that is why i run mine so more people with stock rigs will do this sort of stuff and when you break you can go right to the u-pull it and get parts.
i just want to make this clear i'm not saying you guys can't drive because i've watched a lot of you do awesome driving.
