OK, this is it for tonight. I'm really bummed that almost all of the pics I have from TQ '81 are too dark to get a good scan of.

By this time we did a paint job. Corvette yellow with orange striping. We were now on 38.5 Gumbo Mudders (yes, still the D25/D44 combo but since I was running almost exclusive mud, I didn't break it as often as you might think. In addition to the Ramsey PTO in the back, we now had a Ramsey 8000 electric on the front. The little one in this pic is my daughter who just turned 32.

So here is one you will all love. My first trailer I built was a single axle mobile home axle rated at 5500 lbs. I had to balance the jeep perfectly to get the right tongue weight. And, I was pulling it with a 1980 Bronco with a 6 cyl.

And then, another great winter wheeling shot.

hahahahaha............ if you ever get it scanned good I'd like a pic. Yup, dem rims are cool but they are missing the best part. I used to run chrome beauty rings on them. There may be a pic somewhere.

By the way, that's a second proof I competed. Erin, where are you?

My oldest go back about 10 years.... I have some real vintage ones, but they are not mine, and I don't know anyone in them. I just saved them off the net long ago.

Great thread! I'm going to have to run up to my dad's to get some of the pics from the 70s and 80s when I was a kid wheeling in my dad's rigs.

Anyone here seen a 79 Ford F150 Supercab with a 57 Dodge step-side box? We built that thing and it was a ton of fun with 39s and a 460ci. I hope to find some pics of that and his Broncos, and Rancheros.

Sorry Nick. That's not me. I told you those chevy tail lights were the rage. I never ran aluminum rims and I went straight to a SOA when I built it.

I was at the Delta 4 Wheelers event at the old dirt track near the Z bridge. I used to sneak in there and run the course a few years later. This picture is the old mud drag strip.
