Well took it to Rocks and Valleys today and the 42's were no issue, just have to get used to how wide they are. Did blow a seal in the gear box, but a trip to the auto parts store and fixed on the trailer in the 10 min downpour we got and she was good as new. Very happy! Thanks to all that helped!

How did you like the pibulls? Notice a big improvement? What psi you run them at?

I had them about 10 psi. They are def a bit wider, that took a little getting used to. As far as performance, places that I struggled to get thru with the MTR's were a non issue. Im impressed so far

Tread being the difference or possibly being in a bigger tire giving you better clearance?

The mechanic at the car fixer place told me that it looked like I blew a seal but it was really just some ice cream on my chin. So embarrased.

Im gonna say both but more the tread pattern, the MTR's totally suck in sand and get loaded up quickly. The pitbulls didnt........that made a big difference in a couple places on Python

stop screwing with that steering box already and put some hydro on that thing. all the money you have put into steering boxes you could of almost bought a full hydro kit.

get a tsc se ram like john just did, you already have hi steer arms so you can weld mounts to the tie rod,get a orbital and some lines and you need 1 fitting to screw into the stock pump.done.
so 100 for ram, 180.00 for lines,12 bucks for the fitting and find a used orbital from someone.

Time for some clean up.

Dropped the jeep to Benny today, lots and lots of little issues and 1 or 2 not so little.

Little consists of fixing a shit ton of cracked welds (all around the rear truss, some around the rear coilovers, 1 around the computer box and then the mount for the gearbox).

Bigger jobs are taking off the rear hoops for coilovers and building new, bent a little different to get rid of the rubbing and made a lot stronger. Amazed I didn't lose a shock with the cracks that were there. While there he will shorten my steering arm to get rid of the issue with the driver side tire being kicked out an inch and still have room for adjustment.

Hopefully that will hold me til season ends and I can get full hydro on her.
