Some better pics.

Got the rock rings welded and the wheels swapped out. Yep, scarred them up first weekend out...they were too shiney, it had to be done

And here's a few better pics of the profender air bumps. Damn do these things make a world of difference!!

And finally the new cold air intake. Another huge difference

After all the bs I went thru with this thing it finally rode and ran awesome. I'm very happy. The coilovers still need some fine tuning and will move the top mount on the rear in some and put the limiter straps on.

That 6.0 sure was happy about that intake. She ran so good.

Now for some hydro steering.

Where did you get your pieces for the intake tube? I'm thinking of redoing mine... again.

I thought those intakes could be flipped around so the intake is pointing at the firewall?

i would do that in a heart beat, if nothing else cabin air is drier and cleaner than the crap splashing off the front tires

Then you have to put up with the whistle sound. Racers probably wouldn't have a problem with that but personally I wouldn't want that on a trail rig.

Your intake looks allot like mine. I think I may try a shroud on the bottom side of the filter, but will probably rework it to pull air from the hood or fender. The last time I checked iat (incoming air temps..) while doing some tuning at the dunes, I was pulling 170 degree iat. That is way to hot and makes for allot of power loss. Just my .002......

I sure dig the bumps and coilovers. How much better do the coilovers work than airshocks (mostly concerned with at speed bumps)?? thx.
