If you are still planning on running the twisted races, I would recommend against an air shock. They will heat up and fade quickly when pushed in a race type situation.

The best budget, don't have to buy it twice method would be to buy a set of remote reservoir coilover shocks, but not invest in the dual (or triple) rate kit and springs and continue to run your coil springs. Then when budget permits, you could upgrade the rest of the way.

I'll be at the race.....$$$ depending on if I run or not.

Kentucky in Sept and Canada in Oct.

Thanks for your input, I agree do it right once. Would love coilovers, was twice the price tho and the front really needed to be redone asap. We will see how it's flowing when it comes time for the rear.

It's hard to tell from the picture.....but the paint is a mix of blues, purples and sometimes a gold depending how the sun hits it. Very happy with how it turned out.

It's very important to have the perfect color reflecting from your roll cage depending on what you are wearing..................

Totally agree!

If you only knew how much I had to listen to from a certain west sider about that green cage you would've painted it for me a year ago.

Sold the rear axle, hoping to pick up a 14 bolt this weekend. Ordered the new gears already,(Thanks Ironmanoffroad) Just gonna weld it and throw some disc brakes on it and call it good. Should be ready for Kentucky and Canada now! Looks like Erin has some wrenchin to do.

(Spare shafts are already spoken for)

if you haven't thought about it yet, I would recommend getting a pinion guard for it. I run one and love it. no worries when smacking stuff. I didn't shave my 14 bolt and probably never will. it's usually not much of an issue getting stuck because of it, but it will happen from time to time. small price to pay for an axle you'll never worry about.
