I'll be taking it for a test ride tomorrow after work, runs so nice, shifts nice too. Probably will take Toms advise and add a shift kit down the road. There is a small exhaust leak which i'm not real happy about and will hunt down this weekend. It is way quieter then I expected, that I like a lot.

So glad to have it home and all together. Damn it was a long crazy project.

And expensive. $5300 after selling what I could.

So what you are saying is if I were to have a harness that needed to be reworked, and ECM reprogrammed Howell>Jim and I get to keep my money in Michigan?

Howell hands down. Troy knows his stuff and great service. And yes, $$$ stays in Michigan! I seriously like the option of taking the jeep there to be tuned after. Any issues, they get handled right then.

I'm not buying that at all....it doesn't matter how much good work you do, one mistake can ruin all of it...it sounds like Jim made his here

Drove it around for a couple hours today. Have to get that exhaust leak taken care of and definitly will have Tom do the shift kit as soon as he can. I'm very happy with it, just a little fine tuning now. Temp stayed under 200 , oil pressure around 45-50. Damn did I miss driving this thing!!!

I have no other way of basing an opinion on Jim other then my own experience. He seems like a very nice guy, always tried to answer questions and phone calls. My experience with his product however was not good and the fact that when he didn't have info on something he assumed instead of calling....well, that was a poor choice on his part. I paid him $570 and he refunded $385. Better then a kick in the teeth, but I will put my money and referals on Troy at Howell.
