Ahh...

in hindsight, thats not correct that you need an older PCM. While the trucks moved to drive by wire, the vans did not, so the van PCMs for 04, 05, those supported the cable throttle bodies.

edit: ahh I see its the trans that the issue...

Glad you are getting positive results. I never recommended or considered Howell because I thought they made their own stuff. I didn't realize they would do custom work like you are getting done. With that, sounds like we have a better solution here in Michigan.

This thread is a perfect example of buying a donor vehicle for a few extra bucks, vs trying to part together junkyard shit

some people have the patience, the know how, and the ability to work with junkyard shit. I am not one of those people. If I embark on a project like this I try to find a donor vehicle so I at least know everything is compatible, then I can rebuild things from there, modify harnesses, computers, etc.

It's gonna be pretty sweet when you are done, Hope you get it all sorted here soon.

Any reason not to go full manual valve body? Seems like it would fix a lot of shifting issues, and is good for use on the rocks and for racing.

Do they have a dyno out there?

Any more detail on the sensors? Did they need to change anything for the tune to work with them?

You don't need dynos when you live out in the country.

Thanks. I think those are the sensors I have too, because I have a 6.0 harness, but I've got a 5.3 motor.

i was not impressed. the pipes connected to the header were not tightened and they were leaking.(i put at least 15 turns on all 4 bolts)and it looked like a 10 year old did the welds.
