Ok, so the 9000 series small size is perfect, may be a little noisier, but after combing thru pages and pages of mufflers this is still what I like, will fit and is affordable.

So again i ask, center or offset? And whats the difference other then placement? Also, just because the tube coming off the flange is 2 1/4, does that mean i want the 2 1/4 muffler?????

the difference in the offset, single to duel and center is in the Chambers of the mufflers. If check out Flowmasters site here can see what I mean by chambers and they even have the sound testing as well, if you haven't checked that out. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1

could always just run a baffle on the end of the tail pipe.

Great link Roger! However, everything they have is too big. There is VERY limited space under there with my rear suspension. My old muffler was 4X5X10. I could go 6 wide and maybe 11 long but that's it. The 9000 series Spintech will fit, altho may be noisy,( as pointed out before , with that motor and dumping after skid anythings gonna be a bit noisy).....so with limited choices......may have to go that way.

No rounds shorter then 14". They have an 11" reg muffler, but it's 7 1/2" wide.

Found one by Hushpower.....but listening to the sound clip once was enough.......louder then Flowmasters.

I have a hushpower in my jeep but its the 18" version. The shorter one is sold as a resonator only and not meant to muffle hardly any noise. The longer one sounds more like a flowmaster but may be a bit louder simply because there just isnt much room to build sound deadening in there. They are owned by flowmaster as well.

I plan to run a glass pack on mine with a single pipe to the back with as many bends as possible. If you can get it out past the body a touch it really is not bad.

Do you need a chambered style or are you OK with a straight-through style? Stragiht through aren't spark arrest, so aren't allowed at the mounds, silver lake, etc. (not that you won't get in, but they could stop you, if they are checking...)

Ok, I called the guys at Spintech. Told him what I had. He asked 1 question...."do you have a long arm?" Yes i do, His answer was the only thing I can run is the 6222 or the 9224. The 6222 will be way quieter, but nothing that will fit under my jeep is going to be considered quiet.

Great customer service people. Very helpful

Anybody have a coupon code??? (Tried google, found nothing)

Just a thought:
I mounted mine sideways (left to right) just ahead of the rear bumper.
You fuel tank is above the floor is it not?
Used a Flowmaster.

Right, my tank is where the back seat should be for now. Found a picture on another site, they did the same thing with these on an angle.

Both shifters are done. I am so glad I didn't spend upwards of $250 on a shifter. This one was under $50 and very simple but looks great. A few modifications by Kevin and done. (Thank you Corey for the heads up on this!)
Gauges are all complete now and trans lines are in the works.

Do you have any better pics of the shifter(s). Mostly interested in the tranny shifter, thanks.
