They are the same filter/regulator combos, but different manufactures.

NAPA is FIL 3737, WIX is 33737 and AC Delco is GF822.

Buy it where ever it is cheapest.

Gotya, some links when you pull them up just say filter, others say combo. That got me a bit concerned. Thanks!

[QUOTE=John D;2537077]It's a real bummer for sure, hopefully they will stand behind the products. I have only bought a couple things from them, but lots of people have good luck there.QUOTE]

Eric from Novak called me today. He was confused as to what happened and why the mounts didn't fit right, he's thinking maybe a mix up at shipping. He was QUITE upset that we didn't call him first before making adjustments to the mounts. Like I told him, time is money, i sent him an email as soon as I knew there was an issue. Altho he called me promptly he was a little bit accusational and his story about when the "new design" came out was not at all what I was told when I placed my order. He requested a call from Kevin who tried to call but he was gone for the weekend. After a 20 minute conversation ,some good, some rubbed me wrong, he mentioned a refund. I told him that people speak highly of his company....the mounts hopefully were just a packaging issue and urged him to note on their products when they are actually am outsourced brand. Yes Hag gar, mine arre Sanderson headers. We will see.......

Radiator and surge showed up yesterday, waiting on the harnass from Jims. Kevins getting together all the fuel pup, reg, lines on his end. Also picking up the gauges .

Once the harness is here and all the wiring is done will start her up for a minute. Then put the front end back together. Next week should be busy busy

Hi Becky,

We did some research and found a possible culprit. It appears that Sanderson has had variations in their headers. They are apparently not building to a strict jig. As such, we're going to drop them in favor of a new design. I am sorry for your trouble and that of your mechanic. Please do note that we've refunded you entirely for the mounts. This should have already shown up on your card statement.

Please follow up if there is anywhere we can be of help here and again, pardon us for your trouble. We're fixing it expeditiously.

Eric at Novak

This was the email i got back from Novak. I personally don't think it was the headers that were the issue. Regardless, Kevin redesigned the mounts so they worked and Novak refunded my $$. I guess no harm done.

At least they stand behind their products, even if they lie while they are doing it. I agree with you, story sounds fishy, the outcome seems acceptable though.

Glad to hear they have great customer service even if the part itself was lacking to put it nicely.

Pass the blame to save face.

I'm not fond of either companies product, too many corners being cut.

It's good to see them resolving the issue with you and their products.

Exactly. I personally won't order thru them again. You think the pass the blame in the email was bad? You should have heard him on the phone. He certainly got a piece of my mind after saying we were "slandering" their product and company. Just glad I got my money back and Kevin was able to modify them.It would have been nice to know I was ordering Sanderson headers as well.......nowhere on their site or purchase order did it state that. They work, so all is well.......still, shady IMO.

Everyone I've seen with a megashifter doesn't like them.

I would go with a b&m pro stick with modified gates

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-80706/

or a winters shifter. Art Carr went belly up.

Lokars don't have gates I don't think, only the detents in the trans.

I have the pro stick myself, but I haven't installed it yet..
