Default 03 blazer wont start

I have an 03 blazer, when you turn the key to start it, it will not do anything. All of the lights, radio work just fine. Sounds like its not activating the starter. Any help.

The anti theft could be tripped. Turn the key to run but do not try to start. Let it sit in this position for 10-15 min, until the security light starts flashing. then turn the key to off. then try to start it. You may need to repeat this 2 or 3 times

Ignition switch. I've done a few of them. Mine does that once in a while but it does still work, unless it's crabby.

Well i smacked the starter this morning and it started. So then I pulled the starter and took it up to be tested and then it failed. Does this sound about right?
