It did great besides my running issues. Felt really stable and I am sure with a little time a tuning, it will be way better than what it was before.

After that, I am gonna work on the looks of this thing.....it's getting kinda beat up and ugly.

Getting drive shaft stuff figured out, gonna change my pinion angle a little, I am machining the pinion yoke so the nut is burried in deeper, then making a shim to go under the yoke to gain some room from the pinion. Gonna do this on the t case too, should allow me to get full droop.

New tranny is installed, thinking of getting a reverse manual valve body now too......first is too far away from reverse. Getting close to being wheelable again.

Do you have a mount for that 205? If not thats why that tranny mount broke way to much weight to hang off aluminum, id make anothe mount for the back of it...
Looks awesome though!!!!

No, I don't. CTB2 brought that up with me today too. It has moved to the top of the list.

I was thinking I will remake the pto cover out of 1/4 plate, then tie it into my trans cross (it is hard mounted to the trans with bushings at the frame) Then when I make my skid, maybe I will tie it into that too with a rubber mount. I just don't see any better way to support it then that.

My 205 rests on my skid plate. The plate push's up ever so lightly on the tcase. Haven't had any problems yet, and I think I can say I have tried hard enough in the last 2+ years

That's how mine was for the first year I had a 205 just sat on my radius arm cross member, I had to change it with the doubler though.

T case support made, added to the original tranny cross

Installed

Think that is good or should I add more?

I also made a new shifter linkage, better than the busted up one for sure! I made it out of 1/2" thick aluminum.

Here are my newly modified yokes. I counter bored the pinion nut holes 1/4" deeper and put spacers under the yoke when installed to gain the clearance i need. I am gonna run a 1330 yoke on my 60 (had it) and a 1310 yoke on the 205 with a conversion joint at the axle for now. If I have no issues I may buy another 1310 yoke. Might just step up to 1350 too, who knows....

Pulled codes, checked timing on the ranger. Only codes I got were for the VSS that I dont have installed and low voltage to my MAF. Base timing was set at 10, but I bumped it up to 13. I turned the fuel pressure back down to 39psi since it seemed rich. I put new plugs in too.

Seems like it runs fine, no bucking so far. Maybe I need a new maf if I still have problems.

The tranny pump whines, but seems to hold first just fine. Did a whole bunch of hole shots in the road and it took right off and reved up pretty good. Guess we will see next time out how it does.

I also cut my gate out from 1st to 3rd, and angled the others so I can go reverse to drive and drive to reverse easier, much better.
