I used a Fullboar muffler. It's cheap and looks and sounds like a flowmaster 40.

Kyle order this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-17223/. It is a straight through muffler with packing. It has a lower throaty tone, not too loud. I had one on my Chevy truck, Creeping Death has this same exact muffler on is dd truck. You will like it .

I'm afraid any straight thru muffler will be too loud, I don't have much pipe. Does it have luvers inside to help quiet it down?

Automasters has a selection of different style mufflers. I plan to stop in there this week to buya muffler and 2-1 pipe adapter for the explorer.

One of these might just be the ticket:

A little pricey, but it is a chambered style muffler that should keep the dB level in check.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GIB-788025/

Cheaper alternative that is an OEM replacement so it should be rather quiet as well.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-22630/

Otherwise I have a Dynomax VT that you could try, it is a center in offset out and an oval case. It may not work but you are more that welcome to give it a try it you want.

Kyle, double check you have the hoses run correctly to the remote filter. I believe it does make a difference at the filter which way the oil is flowing.

This is the best flowing quiet muffler you will find. It is more expensive because of the center in and center out. If you can fit a center in offset out they are about 46.00. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-17673/.

No, they were closed. But I have a plan....

I did get the new f250 master cylinder mounted today, needed 2 new fittings but I got them from lkq with the proportioning valve. I just need to bleed the brakes and I should be all set.

I also wired up my electric fan and figured out my no oil pressure deal, had the lines mixed up on the remote oil filter. I put the in to the in and out to the out, but should be out to in...o well, hope it didn't fukc anything up.

Truck runs good, drove it around the front yard tonight, but it seems way rich, I think I fouled out a plug because it started piping and back firing. Time will tell.
