I love the retro TTB look you're going back with. We will be able to wheel together soon.

Then I realized I need to find some manifolds to put on my 5.0 if I want to have exhaust. Anybody have a set of cast manifolds layin around?

I set the motor down on the frame, but need to remove the headers and modify the heater box before I can bolt it in.

Ready to get moving on this thing.

What part of the filter kit isn't correct?? I have a block adapter if that is what you need, swap for the one you have?

I used early 60's car manifolds on my 302 swap into my 4x4, and I now have 97-98 Ex. manifolds on my 2WD with the 5.0. Big thing about the EX manifolds is making sure they didn't come off the GT40P heads.

Did you have to do much cutting to make these fit?? The problem with using a 2wd header (especially a 3/4 or full length) is the engine on a 4x4 is offset to the passenger side. This usually creates clearance issues with the frame. Also, the steering gear box location on a 4X4 tends to get very much in the way of certain header designs.

The block adaptor comes out straight and I need it to come out sideways. I was thinking maybe I could plug it and re drill and tap it to come out the side, not sure. What do you have?

I know the one I have comes out at 90* tight to the block. Pretty sure its this one, if not it is the non bypass version with only a single in and out. It is brand new, never even test fitted. I already had one and this was included in the kit I bought to put the 5.0 in my 2wd
