Thanks!

We wheel mostly at rocks and valleys and some local private property. If I remember, I can give you a heads up next time we go someplace.

Prolly in the next month or so. I have some other things to wrap up first. Hope to be back out wheeling by mid November if not sooner.

Yup, pretty much. I think it works pretty good. Only thing I plan on doing is swapping in some different leafs in the rear so I can shorten the rear a little.

Got my wheels today.

Just gotta machine the centers to clear the 6D hubs and figure out what I am gonna do for protection. Some sort of rock ring, maybe thinking of getting some steel ones and screwing them to the rim. Guess we will see.

Those look familiar - going to build/buy some beadlock rings for those puppies or going internal?

Got my locker today

Got it from IronMan Offroad, Dale was a excellent guy to work with, great deal too

Then I skined the bottom of my 14 bolt to get it ready for gear install. I used 1/4" plate layered, so it is 1/2" thick.

Then made my very own orb-o-traction

Still need to clean it up after it cools, prolly wait till the morning.

Cast aluminum wheels and rocks seem like a bad combo. Especially after I found about a 4" flat spot on the inside of my steel H1 wheels after the labor day trip to Rocks. This would most likely render the cast wheel scrap, mine still holds air and if it ever starts to leak I will grab the BFH and "fix" it.

EDIT - Instead of machining the wheels to fit over the hubs, why not machine the hubs to fit inside the wheels, that way you do it once and you're good for life unless you swap hubs.
