Painted the truck....finally! It turned out alright, not really happy with it the gun kept dripping on it and this was the first time I sprayed a metalic single stage paint. It will just get messed up anyway so I'm not really worried about it. It's green now, so get off my ass, you know who you are!

Just gotta let it dry so I can put the flare back on, do the bedliner or black spray paint for now, and the emblem.

My daughter still thinks its pretty.

I told her to hold comment until after a couple wheeling trips.

Well, gave it hell all last weekend at the Badlands and everything held pretty good! Friday we just played around in the park, Saturday we ran Mission Impossible, then Sunday we played in the quarry. I have to say I am very happy with how my whole set up works, pretty much point and shoot all weekend after I got the feel for it.

Only thing that broke was a cap in a Ujoint, replaced that and kept going. I have a lot of other damage that needs to be fixed or watch, the list is,

Radiator fan quit on me
mess up my driver seat, it has a gangster lean now
bent my radius arm
trashed my box
fairlead fell apart
trashed my license plate
T case is leaking

All in all, just gonna fix the fan and keep on wheeling

Here are a few pictures, didn't take much, other may have taken some and I will post when I get em.

ready to go

a little bit of flex

Group shot

some aftermath

And the trailer tire that gave up the ghost about an hour out of town...

I do have some videos too, but nothing loaded yet.....give me some time

Yup, now both of them are bent a little. Guess I am too hard on it. Time for some beef!

Yours was fun to watch, amazing what it can do! Great to meet you and have the pleasure you wheel with you. Hope you got your axle fixed, we had to split before you were done, looked like you had it covered.

Vern got his axle fixed shortly after you guys left. I was very impressed with your truck, it looks like a pickup and performs like a buggy, can you say sleeper? It was nice to meet you, hope to wheel with you again soon.

Alright, help me figure out what I wanna do. My box is messed up, needs some work. I have been tossing around the idea of a bed cage and box sides, but I can't think of a good way to mount the sides. On the other hand, I am not sure I wanna put that much work into a bed cage to just hold the box sides on. SO I am thinking maybe truggy, but i dislike the look of the factory frame rail and I would rather back half it, just don't have the money to 4 link it right now.

SO question is,
truggy
bed cage
F it, run it
just stitch it back together like my original plan, maybe do a dove tail on it for fun.

help me decide!!

Oh, and if anyone has a picture of something cool I should consider, post it up!

This will be free, fun project till I have money. Think I might just fix it up a little.

I think my end goal is gonna be a 4 link, tubed out/backhalfed with tons. I'm even gonna hold off on the doubler till I do this too.....maybe I will sell the doubler to help fund the tons.......

You are right, but I am sick of the janky crap flopping around. If anything, I am gonna tie it all together.
